The Concordville Inn bridal show was a blast! What a great turnout. 

Our Gloss ladies Sarah, Lauren, and Caitlyn were at the show answering all of the brides' questions about our on and off site wedding hair and makeup services. Thank you to all  who stopped by Gloss's table. Congrats to all of the brides who are planning their weddings this year.

Congratulations to our client, Jessica on her wedding day this past Saturday, February 6th!

Our stylist and makeup artist,Tateum, along with assistant, Alicia were priveleged to be a part of her special day at the Montchanin Inn in Delaware. The entire bridal party was so relaxed and fun! Everyone was excited for the festivities to begin. The wedding had a peacock theme, which gave our artists an opportunity to really have fun with the wedding day looks. We would like to say a special congratulations to our owner, Bethany.  She welcomed her beautiful baby girl, Sophia Jane, into their family at 7lb 13oz, and 20" tall!!  We're SO HAPPY for you!

This Week's Spotlight Stylist..."Lauren Clift!!"

Lauren is a 'huge' piece in our amazing staff here at "Gloss Salon", and we're very proud to gloat about her and her artistic abilities!  

With sleight-of-hand, she's capable of turning out some of the most mesmerizing hair and make-up styles you will ever lay your eyes on.  Her specialties are up-styling, cut and color, 'especially' for the participants of the wedding party!  "The energy is high and everyone is happy on their wedding day," says Lauren.   "I like the feeling that I had a part in making them so beautifu,l and the photographs they take will last forever!"  Lauren is a single mother fiercely supporting her two beautiful boys who take up much her time and A LOT of her love!  She grew up in New England, but her family (2 brothers and a sister) range throughout the country.  What does she wear to the office?  "It's all over the place," she says.  "I really love fashion....pretty, sexy, beautiful in what I wear!  It's a feeling!" 

 "And I really love earth tone colors.  Green represents me."  When she's not in the salon, she'll be in the kitchen, because "cooking and baking are relaxing.  I'm currently a vegan and a real food snob.  We practice eating organic and try hard to support local farms and foods.  LOVE salads because I can make them so colorful! The variations are endless!  I also like riding bikes or being outside somewhere with the boys.  If I ever had a chance to take a vacation, exploring new places that involve 'natural beauty'.....that's extremely appealing to me."  Sooooo, this is our beloved Lauren.  Go ahead and call for an appointment with her!  She's ready to make 'you' beautiful!

I specialize in formal/wedding hairstyling, hair cutting and coloring.

What is your favorite outfit to wear?
Leggings, boots, dresses and cardigans, because it is a flirty, feminine, and
comfortable style.

What is your favorite color?
Green, because it is a warm, nature tone that goes with many other colors.

Favorite hobbies? Fun experiences?
I enjoy reading, exercise and fitness.  I mostly enjoy spending quality time with family and friends.

The Bridal Event

The Bridal Event was so fun last weekend! We had a blast! I thought I would give an update to the brides-to-be who couldn't make it. The stylists that accompanied me were:  Amy Casper (hairstylist), Sarah Petrucci (stylist), Tateum Hitchcock (stylist and makeup artist) and Caitlyn Curthen (assistant). They helped make the show a great success! We had the chance to do a few girls' hair and makeup. The makeup asked for was vintage and dramatic, and the hair requested was low, off to the side with loose curls.
